I don't want to sound biased in this review but let me start off by saying I loved this movie. I loved it for all the right reasons, not just because I'm a Spider-Man fan.

This movie has everything going for it, a great script, a great cast, great visuals, great direction, and a great musical score. And while they didn't take the characters too seriously, the writers understood that this is a comic book hero and constantly injected humor throughout the entire film. They not only made fun of themselves but at one point even made fun of the audience to allow them to participate in the joke.

I remember when I was young in high school and we had to watch those boring short films about the dangers of drinking, driving, drugs and how important living a healthy life was with daily exercise and everything else under the sun. They even made fun of that too with the help of none other than Captain America.

British actor Tom Holland joins the cast as the new Spider-Man with Michael Keaton being the villain Adrian Toomes. Robert Downey Junior repeats his role as Tony Stark with Marisa Tomei as Peter Parker's (a.k.a. Spider-Man) Aunt May, John Favreau as Happy Hogan, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and of course Chris Evans as Steve Rogers (a.k.a. Captain America).

I'll say it again, I loved this movie it was fun, exciting, and director John Watts did a great job of keeping us entertained from beginning to end. There were plot twists, multiple intertwined stories, and explosive action sequences.

I would recommend this film to everybody young and old and by watching it in IMAX 3-D it becomes a spectacular experience and an event film for the summer.

Definitely, an "E "ticket ride if they still have those at Disneyworld.
