SMARTY FOR A GOOD CAUSE

GREAT MUSIC FOR A GREAT HOSPICE PROGRAM

This year marks the “20th Annual Serenades of Life-Doctors in Concert” presented by the Lynne Ruffin-Smith Charitable Foundation benefitting Nathan Adelson Hospice’s Bonnie Schreck Memorial Complementary Therapies Program.  Headlining the event is singer/songwriter, Kenny Loggins, (“Danger Zone” from Top Gun, “I’m Alright” from Caddyshack, “Footloose”), with a special introduction given by comedian Brad Garrett. There is no other concert in Las Vegas that displays the musical talents of so many physicians in our community. Other performers include: Alan Arnold, M.D., Linda Woodson, M.D., Morton Hyson, M.D., Loren Little, M.D. with his Jazz Band, Sam Mujica, M.D., and Alter’d Ego featuring Edwin Kingsley, M.D. Proceeds from the concert support The Bonnie Schreck Memorial Complementary Therapies program at Nathan Adelson Hospice. The program improves quality of life for our patients and loved ones and eases emotional and physical discomfort. Patients and their loved ones may request various therapies such as Pet Therapy, Reiki Energy Work, Massage Therapy, Art Therapy, Reflexology, and Aromatherapy. Nathan Adelson Hospice is the largest non-profit hospice in Southern Nevada. Their vision is that no one should end the journey of life alone, afraid, or in pain. The event will be held in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center on Nov. 10, 2015 at 6:30pm. Tickets range from $39-$179 and are available at TheSmithCenter.com
