FOURTH OF JULY IN VEGAS
Vegas offers so many options on the Fourth of July to both locals and tourist alike in our city. Fireworks begin at all properties at 9pm. It makes for quite a spectacle to see the entire Strip entirely lit up for the occasion. There are drink specials, food specials, and parties at every property. Mandalay Beach will be hosting “311” that night. The Stratosphere is going to be holding several parties at their lounges high above the city. Best clubs to view the action? Ghost Bar at the Palms, Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay, Drai’s Rooftop Beachclub/Nightclub at the top of The Cromwell, and Voodoo Lounge at the Rio. You can also go a completely different route and head to Boulder City for their small town “Damboree” celebration, which features fun, games and fireworks at 9pm, as well.
SMARTY 4TH OF JULY FOOD FESTIVITIES
Starting July 2nd, Shake Shack at the New York New York will feature corn dogs and blueberry pie concretes. For those uninitiated Shake Shack diners, a concrete is a shake so thick, it’s just ridiculous to get through a straw—but so worth it.
Feeling lazy about cooking duties this 4th of July? No worries, Made L.V. has you covered. Pre-order a rack or ribs for $24, or their signature-roasted chicken for $15, along with two sides, such as mac and cheese, biscuits, and/or beans. Order extra sides for $5 each.
